At the 1st Knaresborough (Castle) Scout Group we believe that young people have a vast wealth of untapped potential that is not always utilised. In order to reach their full potential, they need to be challenged physically and mentally in a supportive environment. Only through experiencing and overcoming challenges and hardship do they realise they have the resources within themselves to be successful in life.
All Scouts are different. They have varied abilities and strengths so their challenges will be different, but it is only by working together do we become more than individuals. We aim to develop ourselves, each other, and society as a whole.
